Over the past couple of weeks there has been a big festival of lights in Wellington. As soon as I heard about this festival, I got really excited as I absolutely love lights and I hadn't gone on a photography adventure in what seems like quite a long time. Some of my favorite displays was Orbs by Out Of The Dark - where a heap of balls of light were hanging down what used to be a creepy alleyway and they'd fade in an out of different colours - then there was Square Things by Johann Nortje - where a tunnel made of lights was made to interact with, so as you yelled from one end, the colours of the tubes would change according to your yelling capability - and my last favourite was Screaming Rapture by Design The Future - which was a big panel of light with a heap of flaps that would fly up and expose the light behind it as you screamed at it, it was adorable as all these little kids yelled at the display and their reaction as all the flaps moved.

I thought it was a great opportunity to bring out my camera, as well as an excuse to go out and walk along the waterfront at night, both being some of my favourite things to do in the city.
