Getting Heathy and Exercising

Louise... exercising... running?! What's come over me?!
I've always been somewhat "healthy", but more so recently I'm becoming tired easily, and my eating and sleeping habits are shocking. I'm not saying I'm overweight and want to lose a few pounds or anything along those lines, what I want and frankly need to do is simply to become healthy.
My doctors and counselor have told me that what I need to do is to start exercising, which will activate everything else I need to "fix". If I exercise I'll need to eat more to build up the energy, which will result in sleeping properly too. I don't want to go to the gym, because frankly that kind of environment scares me; all these buff people lifting things and stretching things, making loud noises and looking attractive. The easiest way for me to exercise is to start to run.
I have been running for just over two months now, at this stage twice a week for about half an hour each time with my boyfriend as company. I want to ease myself into it and not push myself too much too quickly, hurting myself. So far I have seen a huge improvement; my sleeping and eating habits are improving quite a bit, plus it's making me a happier person overall, which my counselor has said is the main goal here.
This is what I look like today, at two months of running an hour a week. I want to start running more frequently or try to go longer each time. Physically, I don't want to lose any weight or get abs or anything insane like that. Surprisingly, I'm happy with my body. I would however like to tone my stomach which shows my bad exercising and eating habits, which with the help of eating more and eating nutritiously I'll be able to achieve this. I would also like to start eating properly, to try to cut back on all the sweets and chocolate I eat and try to have three square meals a day, rather than one to two and a bunch of snacks. I'm slowly learning what kinds of food I need to include in my diet that give me energy and aren't sickly sweet and what sort of food my body needs to consume personally.
2015 is going to be the year of improvements!
